Discouraged

Dear Prince Charming,

So, I met this guy on May 20th. Every single week since I met him we have been on a date. I really am beginning to like him. But I just found out that he's waiting for a Sister Missionary... "Competing" for him goes completely against what I normally do.
I'm now completely unsure what to feel/think. I'm probably over analyzing (I do it so well, because I'm so paranoid of getting hurt) but yeah.

1. If he's waiting & writing a girl, then why is he going on so many consecutive dates with me? Shouldn't he be going on dates with a bigger variety of girls so he doesn't accidentally lead someone on?
2. I would rather have him stop asking me on dates now than later. But I don't want him to not ask me on dates.3. I don't know how much time she has left on her mission. So either I have "plenty of time" and we would start dating, or I am "running out of time" & I'll watch him leave for her when she gets home because I was a filler to date while he waited for her.4. He's an honest person. Why would he put his arm around me & ask me on so many dates if he wasn't interested??5. I already like him maybe more than I should. The idea of it never going anywhere or ending just when I was beginning to kinda call him mine kinda makes me want to cry. And go on a 5 mile run.6. If tomorrow wasn't Sunday, I'd go running tomorrow morning and to the temple.7. Heavenly Father will help me know what to do.8. WHY THE HECK IS MY LOVE LIFE SO .... COOMPLICATEDDD??? Dating stinks.9. Maybe I should give my name & number to the bishop so I can skip dating he & can just choose a husband for me ;P jk I really wouldn't.But still. That'd be more simple than THIS

Frustrated with dating,

Setting Your Line In The Law of Chastity

Dear Prince Charming,

I went to my friend's mission prep class with him a couple weeks ago, and something he said really hit me. It went along the lines of this:

Now, many people say, "how far can I go with a guy/girl on a date?" This is how I respond to them. I'm going to ask you the questions I've asked them. Don't raise your hand literally, but I do want you to mentally raise your hand when you think it's too far.

Think about the person you're going to marry. How far would you be comfortable with them going on a date with someone else? This could be before you ever meet them. When you're uncomfortable with the idea of them doing this with someone else, raise your hand. Mentally, not physically, like I said before.

Holding hands.

Putting his arm around her.

Cuddling.

Kissing.

Making out.

Laying on top of the other person.

Light petting.

Touching the private parts of the body on top of their clothes.

Touching the private parts of the body under their clothes.

Engaging in oral sex.

Engaging in genital sex.

After a short pause, he told us that we should never go beyond what we are comfortable with our future spouse doing with someone else. If you are not comfortable with anything beyond kissing, then don't do it yourself. If you don't want your spouse doing it with someone else, DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF.

Pretty much, my hand was mentally beginning to raise when he said making out. It raised higher and higher with everything beyond that. Kissing, I can understand. Sure, I may be trying to save my first kiss for you, but I don't expect you to do the same. Most guys I know that are sincerely amazing guys have already kissed other girls. I would be slightly disappointed if you had been making out with other girls just because it felt good. But really, I am saving myself completely for you. I hope you're doing the same for me.

Love,

Your Princess
