Dear Prince Charming,
Reality is more vigorous than the fairytale dream life everyone seems to expect. Trying to budget money, starting school, living on your own... (Well, living with roommates. Coming from my sheltered tower, living on my own isn't something I can't handle.) It's a little more difficult and a little less of a dream than they crack it up to be. Is there a WAY to fit all that I need to do within the 24 hours of a day?? Homework, tests, studying, food (Yeah, a necessity), sleep (I get less of that now...), social life (or the lack thereof - I must admit, I became somewhat of a social failure stuck up in my tower all my life. Now I have to learn how to be outgoing and make new friends), and household chores. I'm sure that's not all.
Starting out, part of me wants to run back to my tower and wait for you, which was definitely the simplest, easiest solution I could take at this point. But then, now I don't even think fairytales work the same way they used to. And I don't think you were looking for me in a tower, with the way the world works now. Which makes me wonder some things. Are you even riding a noble steed? Or are you driving a car? (I found out those are the common method of transportation these days.) Have you met other beautiful princesses that you almost swept off their feet? You're probably just out there somewhere, blending in just as I am... This could become very difficult to find you along the way to my happily ever after... So it's a good thing I'm starting my happily ever after learning to be happy on my own first.
